EUFAMI has embarked on a new project, ‘The Economic Case for Caring’, building on the Caring for Carers Survey which assessed the experience of family caregivers in caring for their relative with severe mental illness.
The current project is looking at how unpaid (informal) care provided by family members and other unpaid carers is an important element of any mental health system. The survey is now open to carers living Ireland.
